We want to empower artists in a safe place to find creative freedom and confidently live out their God-given purpose. Our hope is that every artist will discover and operate in their unique artistry.
mission
We are passionate about leading and teaching in the arts on christ-centered beliefs. Our aim is to bridge the gap between the creative arts and everyday life by giving tools to students to use their creative skills in their personal environment in and out of the classroom. We seek to build belonging and connection in our programs so that our students are valued for their individual artistry and empowered to pursue personal growth through technique training in theatre, music, and dance.
about theatre company
Theatre Company is an audition-based group of 6th-12th graders consisting of students who desire a higher level of technical training. Members receive opportunities to perform on our stage and also engage in leadership and outreach opportunities in the areas of singing, acting, and dancing.
Students meet once a week to work on content. As leadership within the theatre department, Theatre Company will have the opportunity to audition for the principal roles and carry primary responsibilities for our end of the year musical. They will also learn two original ensemble theater repertoire pieces to be shared in an outreach capacity as well as within WFA's DaCo Showcase.
