Woodland Fine Arts Academy (WFA) is a ministry of Woodland Community Church in Bradenton, FL. WFA’s purpose is to provide high quality instruction in a Christian environment for artists of any age. Our program is designed to meet students where they are and help them explore their God-given creative gifts and develop the skills and discipline required to reach their fullest potential at every level. Whether it is for use in performance, ministry or personal expression, our desire is to see each person grow in their talent and passion for the arts, and most importantly, Glorifying God in all we do. We are all made to create and made to worship.

Funding & HistoryWoodland Fine Arts Academy (WFA) is a ministry of Woodland Community Church that is entirely self-supported by its instructional fees, fundraising events, and donations. WFA opened its doors in August 2008 under the direction of Jill Atchley and Keith Martin. Since its opening enrollment of 36 students, WFA now serves hundreds of artists every year in art, dance, music and theatre through group and individual instruction. WFA provides the highest quality of instruction from the expertise of more than 20 accredited and experienced instructors.
