As we begin this new season, we are reminded of the powerful truth found in 1 Samuel 16:7 The Lord does not look at things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. This verse will serve as our scripture for the year and speaks to our theme “Don’t Wait to Be Great.” Whether you are picking up a paintbrush, stepping onto a stage, or lifting your voice in song, our desire is that your gifts would point others to the beauty, truth, and goodness of our Creator. Our theme reminds us that we are never too young to use our gifts and step into action in God’s Kingdom.
