Alexa Borawski
Art Instructor
Alexa was born in NY, but moved to FL when she was 9. In January 2023, she married her wonderful husband, Maciej after 8 years of being together. They love to travel with their husky, Myah, and try to spend as much time outside as possible. Alexa and her husband find themselves out on their boat or camping in their RV on the weekend. Alexa found a love for teaching and has been working at Woodland for 6 years now. She started here down in the preschool teaching in the 3–4-year-old room. When she graduated and received her B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education in 2020, she was able to begin teaching the 4th grade Bobcats class in 2021 here at Woodland. Art has been a passion of hers for as long as she could remember. In high school, Alexa found it as a great outlet to be able to express herself. She had an art teacher that would help her get creative with mixing different mediums to create fun textured art. Alexa loved being able to see her imagination come to life. Getting to bring teaching and art together has been something Alexa has wanted to do for some time. She is grateful to have found both of her passions tied together now through WFA. Alexa can’t wait to help others find creative ways to express themselves.
