Stacy Kolbe
Administrative Support & Service Project Leader
Stacy Kolbe comes to Woodland Fine Arts as a person that has always loved kids. As a teen she grew up serving at the local Boys and Girls Club and picking one family at a time to support for a hand up. She graduated from Purdue university with a degree in Social Work and a minor in Spanish and Psychology. Life led her first to Des Moines Iowa where she worked on the front line and then as a family counselor at a teen shelter YESS. After meeting her husband in Iowa, they relocated to Sarasota Florida to begin their life together. Stacy worked at Girls Inc in Sarasota until they began a family in 2001. Scott and Stacy now have 5 children and numerous others they love as theirs. Stacy serves as the administrator of Angels Attic, is on the Woodland Children’s Ministry Team, Leads a Prayer Group for amazing women at Woodland, and facilitates The Preschool-School Mommy and Me Play Group. She has over 30 years experience serving and loving children and their families.
She is so excited to roll all her life experience together to partner with the kids in WFA to explore the opportunities to serve others as they follow God’s calling for their life. She is in her second year collaborating with these amazing young people to find their hearts desire and give them a perspective that not only looks beyond themselves to see the needs of others, but also begins a ripple effect that will last well beyond them. Her life mission is for each person she/ and they encounter to know that they are important… that we recognize they exist, and that their life has an amazing purpose. Showing God’s love one person and moment at a time is her current life work. Loving people until they ask why..
"In the same way, let your light shine before people, so they can see the good things you do and praise your Father who is in heaven." - Matthew 5:16
