Beginner Piano & Beginner Voice Instructor
Sonya Pisani has been married for twenty-four years to her husband Joe Pisani. They have three beautiful children: Josh, 20, Seth, 18, and Gabriela, 12. They moved to Florida from the D.C. area eight years ago to be closer to family.
Sonya currently teaches music, literacy, and Bible for VPK at the Woodland Early Childhood Center. Sonya is from the beautiful state of North Carolina, where she grew up in a musical family. She has been singing since the age of five, and has been involved doing music camps, church events, singing schools, choral, band, and community theater plays. She has over ten years of classical piano experience and plays several instruments.
Sonya graduated with a Bachelor in Science in Human Services and a minor in music. She is a member of Woodland church, where she teaches preschool choir, is involved with kids choir, as well as on the praise team and in the worship choir.
She has taught piano and voice in N.C. and PA. Being a mom, wife, and a teacher, she continues expressing musical art in so many forms.
Sonya is an energetic, enthusiastic, and a passionate person. She brings an element of interaction with people that brings out their very best. As a teacher, her goal is to creatively develop that same passion for music in others.
