Voice Instructor
Originally from Ohio, Mandy discovered her love of music at a young age and followed that passion throughout her education and career. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Choral Music Education from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
Over the past 28 years, Mandy has taught music to students in Ohio from kindergarten through 12th grade in public and private Christian schools. She also has taught private vocal and piano lessons out of her home for six years.
Some of Mandy’s most meaningful experiences include directing middle school and high school choirs, directing musicals at the elementary and high school level, and mentoring students who go on to share their own love of music.
Outside the classroom, Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband, Ken, and her two college aged sons, James and Nathan; walking her dogs, a retired greyhound and Boykin Spaniel; traveling; working out at the YMCA; and working at Capernaum Connections as a music and PE teacher. She recently moved to Florida in June 2025.
Mandy is thrilled to join the Woodland Fine Arts Academy team and looks forward to helping students grow in both skill and spirit through the gift of music.
