Vocal Ensemble Instructor
Lisa offers energizing, experienced-based lessons focused on a student's specific goals and aspirations. Specifically focused on vocal training for aspiring professionals or those with a music career, Lisa relies on decades of real world experience to shape her teaching. Whether coaching the Grammy Award Winning Latin Artist “Juanes” or performing our nation’s anthem at a nationally televised Presidential debate, Lisa is passionate about music and even more passionate about helping others train their voice to be dynamic, flexible and healthy. No two lessons are alike. She likes to ‘experiment’ together with her students so they can learn about their voice; tone, quality, flexibility, strengths and weaknesses, etc. “When you realize these techniques and learn how to put them to work for you, you can sing whatever style of music you want, and sing it well.”
Lisa is a graduate of Ohio University and has recorded several solo CDs, performed background vocals for numerous professional artists and was the vocal director of the Spirit of Goodwill band for their 2009 “For Once in My Life” award winning documentary. Lisa also has experience in TV Production as well as live stage and recording studio session work.
