They're so kind, welcoming, and caring. Over the years they've continually poured into me and mentored me in and outside of the classroom. They've really shown me what it looks like to use dance for worship, and not just for dance itself. If you're debating whether or not to enroll in classes, definitely go for it! I can't think of a better place to grow in gifts and in Christ :)”

“Our family has been doing dance since WFA was created. Our 4 girls have enjoyed and grown in such a safe and individualized program. They have done dance and theatre. We haven’t missed a single encore camp. One of my daughters and I lead the youngest group my soccer lover finds her place my dancer dances and Addison strives for that extra week the leads get to enjoy. We have enjoyed voice lessons select and dance company. We have made life long friends for our girls as well and Scott and I because of the time together with others. We have tried other camps and programs and I can speak to the nurturing environment which I haven’t found elsewhere. Thank you Woodland for the WFA blessing. Hope others will check us out!”

“It started with our youngest daughter at the age of eight deciding that she wanted to try the summer Encore camp. After that a passion was ignited, she was hooked and joined the Select Theatre Troupe that fall, then the following year Dance Company as well as taking voice and piano lessons. That girl hasn’t stopped singing, dancing, acting, or playing the piano since the day she entered the WFA doors. Since then between our three oldest kids, one has taken dance classes and the other two teach music lessons at the academy. Our family loves the heart and vision of WFA! It’s a safe place where kids can develop their gifts & talents while glorifying God in the process. As a mom who grew up around the arts, it’s truly a priceless treasure!”

"As members of Woodland Community Church for over 23 years, my boys were among the first students at WFA, taking piano and guitar lessons. That laid a foundation for them to ultimately be a part of the worship band at Woodland. In addition, my youngest son, at the encouragement of the staff at the time, decided to try musical theater and discovered a talent and a passion for it that led him to be a part of musical theater and Select at WFA for 9 years until he graduated from high school. “After relocating to Bradenton in 2016, I enrolled my then 12 year and 10 year old daughters into Woodland Fine Arts Academy's summer Encore theater camp, and we have not left since. Since then, Kennedy, now 16 has been a part of the theater program and joined the Academy's Select Troupe in 2017. Kayleigh, now 14 joined the Academy's Dance Company. The people we have met, including the staff, have become family to us over the last 5 years. My girls have formed lifelong friendships and developed not only in their artistry and talents, but also lifelong skills that will continue to shape them into amazing young ladies.
