This camp week offers a variety of specialized tracks to provide a customized artistic experience for students of any age and almost any creative interest. We believe that creativity and artistry comes in so many unique forms and we want to explore the beauty of art with you this summer. From visual arts, to music or video production, to stage crew and beyond. We’ve got something for everyone!

Students enrolled in this camp will help create a vibrant art exhibit for the Arts Festival on Friday, July 1st. This camp is sure to be a highlight of your summer and the Made to Create, Arts Festival will be a summer night to remember.

Registration Fee: $15, includes camp performance t-shirt 

​Lunch Bunch is available for full day camper for $10 per week ($2 per day). This is a 1-hr window of time that will include lunch and recess. 

​*Early Bird Enrollment Deadline before March 15th.

​BEGINNER OPTIONS

6-10 years old

3D ART  ​

​Our 3D Art Track will have your child’s creative juices flowing all week. We'll explore nature, textiles, and sensory objects to create our very own art exhibit. This track offers young artists and creatives the freedom to use their imagination and create many unique pieces of art throughout the week. This Track will display their art work in the Made to Create Arts Festival.

EDIBLE ART & SCIENCE ​

Foodies unite as we imagine how food can be used creatively as art. We'll put on our aprons as we decorate and concoct edible creations. Students in this track will take lessons in decorating baked good and will also become culinary chemists as we explore how creative food can be, scientifically. This track will participate is serving up some delicious artwork and displays in the Made to Create Arts Festival.

MUSIC & MOVEMENT

​Join us as we creatively teach rhythm, and beginner music theory throughout the week. Whether it’s learning about a new instrument, vocal health, how to bang on drums or what all those marks on the page mean, your little one is sure to have a blast creatively learning about the world of musical expression all around us! This class will be aimed at the beginner (younger) participant. Students will perform in the Made to Create Arts Festival on July 1st. 

​INTERMEDIATE OPTIONS

11-18 years old

MUSIC PRODUCTION

​This is a Musical-Production Track, open to our older campers. Students will produce an original song from start to finish. From concept to recording. We will cover writing lyrics, melody, song-structure, and digital production. This track will be fast-paced and interactive. We will be using Logic, see this overview video here. If this interests your child, sign up for the Music Production Track. An original song will be played at the Made to Create Arts Festival.

Lighting and Sound production

Been on the stage but wonder what goes on behind the scenes to tie everything together? Centerstage spotlight not your scene (;)) but love all things theatrical arts? Wonder what all those buttons do in the sound and lighting booths? Then this is the class for you! We will offer exposure and experience in everything from lighting, stage design, stage management special effects, and soundboard engineering. This week they’ll cover it all! This crew will create a sound and light show along with being stagehands at the Made to Create Arts Festival.

​VISUAL ARTS

Our Visual Arts Track will have your child’s creative juices flowing all week. Edible Art, canvas painting, Pinterest board creations, crafting, and theatrical make up effects are just some of the topics to be covered during this packed week of all things visual creativity. This will be an artistically packed week of all things visual creativity. This track is for older students who have an interest in art mediums and textiles. This Track will be invited back to our to preview all of this week’s work at the Made to Create Arts Festival.

VIDEO PRODUCTION

​Much like our Musical Production Track, video production will start from capturing raw footage and end the week with a finished product, ready for Youtube! We will lead you through the basics of gathering footage, editing, combining with music and of course final production. A personal recording device will be required for this track - phone, ipad, ipod etc. Final video production will premiere at the Made to Create Arts Festival.

Please note: Your card on file will be charged for the amount due within 5 business days of registration. Once your registration and payment are complete, your child will be added to our camp preparations. We begin preparing for our summer camps long before the scheduled camp dates. If you need to unenroll for any reason, your fees can only be refunded by 50% prior to May 1st. After May 1st, all camp fees are non-refundable.
