Alexa Borawski has been creating art for as long as she can remember and believes that creativity is one of the most beautiful ways to tell a story, express emotions, and reflect the beauty of God’s creation. From painting and drawing to mixed media, she has always found joy in exploring new artistic styles and encouraging others to do the same.
With a background in elementary education and years of classroom experience, Alexa has built her teaching philosophy around hands-on learning, imagination, and creative exploration. She believes that every child is an artist with unique gifts. The art room should be a place where students feel inspired to experiment, embrace mistakes, and grow in confidence as creators.
As Head of the Art Department at Woodland Fine Arts Academy, Alexa is passionate about cultivating a vibrant and organized art program that nurtures both technical skills and artistic expression. She loves helping students discover new mediums, think outside the box, and see art as a way to glorify God and positively impact the world around them.
Outside the classroom, Alexa enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, photography, crafting, and finding inspiration in everyday moments and the beauty of nature. She is grateful to be part of the Woodland Fine Arts Academy family and hopes to inspire her students to create boldly, dream big, and never lose their sense of wonder.
