Woodland Fine Arts Academy warmly welcomes families utilizing the Step Up For Students / Personalized Education Program (PEP) scholarship. To ensure a smooth enrollment and financial process, please review our policy regarding scholarship funding below.
1. Direct Provider Status
Please be aware that Woodland Fine Arts Academy is NOT currently a direct provider for Step Up or PEP scholarships.
We cannot bill Step Up For Students or the EMA portal directly.
We do not accept direct payments from your scholarship account.
2. Payment and Reimbursement Process
Because we are not a direct provider, families are responsible for standard out-of-pocket payments to the Academy.
Upfront Payment: Parents/guardians must pay all tuition and fees directly to Woodland Fine Arts Academy according to our standard payment schedules at the time of registration.
Self-Reimbursement: After making a payment, it is the parent's responsibility to submit the required documentation to Step Up For Students to request reimbursement through their PEP account.
3. Accessing Your Receipts via Email for submission
To make the reimbursement process as seamless as possible for your family:
Itemized statements and receipts are automatically provided to your email on file upon payment. The subject line will read, “Your Balance Has Been Paid.” These statements contain all of the information required. You can upload these statements directly to the Step Up/EMA portal with proof of payment from your financial institution to request reimbursement through their PEP account.
4. Eligible Classes & Credentials
Step Up/PEP has specific instructor credential requirements for a class to qualify for reimbursement.
Look for the Labels: Classes that meet these required credentials are explicitly noted on our website and registration page.
Verification: Please ensure the specific class you are registering for bears this designation if you intend to seek reimbursement.
Please Note:While we provide automated, itemized statements via Jackrabbit to assist with your submission, scholarship guidelines and approval metrics are determined exclusively by the state and Step Up For Students. The Academy cannot guarantee reimbursement approval.
